On the proposed cable car, again

Your editorial of 18 June asked whether we have moved past the cable car debate. We have not, and we should not.

Thank you for the bus story

Your reporting on the northern suburbs bus timetable has made a real difference for shift workers in my street. Two of them now make it home in time to read to their kids.

Small things matter. Please keep at it.

    A correction of your correction

Your Friday correction noted the bridge was completed in 1964. The opening ceremony was in December 1964 but it carried traffic from October. A minor point, but precision matters.

    Cover the north too

I subscribe from Launceston and I would love to see more reporting from the north of the state. Hobart is not Tasmania.

    A reply on local sport

Your reader who complained that we cover too much football should look at the events diary. There is a netball, basketball and rowing season on every weekend. Send your match reports in.
